A lot of people have loved our wines with some age – and they’re basically never available! – so we have decided to release an extremely limited amout of our 2013 Single Vineyard Chardonnay. Hailing from a beautiful little vineyard in the Tuerong subregion of the Mornington Peninsula, this wine has 12 years of age and is showing lovely right now. Those of you who are keen to see a Dappled Chardonnay with a bit of age shouldn’t miss out.

Tasting notes

This wine shows quite a lot of richness from the aging process where nectarines, melon, peach, butter, toast and a flintiness all feature. The palate is round and richly fruited, the acidity has softened with age but as the wine breathes becomes fresher and lengthy. Due to its age, this wine does have a little bit of sediment and will need some time to open in the glass (a full decant will likely be too much).
